Financial Sanctions Regulations briefing

A number of colleagues have enquired about financial sanctions regulations and how they apply to universities. We’re pleased to be able to circulate this briefing note, which we hope will prove useful. Although it is ‘BUFDG-badged’ it has been assembled from the wisdom of colleagues in the sector, with crucial input from major financial service providers.
There are principally two pieces of advice – 1) be aware of financial sanctions regulations and understand and manage the institution’s risk exposure; and 2) engage with your financial service provider. If you have any questions about the document, please contact Matt.
