There’s more this week for those involved in the roll out of the Apprenticeship Levy. We published a round-up a few weeks ago, which included HMRC guidance on calculating, reporting and paying the levy as well as its guidance for employers with pooled PAYE schemes. Since then we’ve also alerted readers to the RCUK decision on recovering Apprenticeship Levy costs for research organisations applying for grant funding, and on the application of the levy in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
This week UCEA has produced an excellent in-depth round-up of all the information so far on the Levy in the devolved nations, as well as some useful examples of how things might get complicated in the case of cross-border funding which, due to the nature of the sector, may be more common than first though. It’s well worth a read.
