The Leadership Foundation project on Integrated Thinking and Reporting has been ticking along nicely over the last few months. You may remember that BUFDG started to look at how universities could adopt Integrated Reporting (IR) a couple of years ago, and undertook two phases of work - you can still download Phase 1 and Phase 2 on the IR project from the website. The LFHE project is supported by funding from the funding councils, and is bringing together whole leadership teams (not just finance) at 10 HEIs, to embed integrated thinking and IR across the whole institution.
This week, there’s an interview with Richard Dale, Director of Finance at Newcastle University – one of the participants of the LFHE project. Richard answers questions on the university’s journey so far, the challenges it has faced, and what it has learned along the way. You can read the interview in full here. The next project workshop is on the 8th March in Sheffield.
