VAT cases of interest to universities

Deloitte's Weekly VAT News for 14 August details three tribunal cases which, while not involving educational establishments, could be of interest to universities. The cases involve fiscal neutrality in relation to transactions between connected companies, recharacterising transactions after they have taken place, and first ever decision on the Senior Accounting Officer regime.
