How do you measure up? (English HEIs)

22 October 2018      Emma Keenan, Procurement Specialist

Historically the Efficiency Measurement Model (EMM) survey figures have been forwarded to HEFCE (now the OfS) to report on as part of wider efficiency returns.  Although HEFCE produced some simple statistics from the data, there was never a detailed report for procurement managers to use in institutions.

Before we move into the new phase of the PVS and PPIs (replacing the EMM and BPIs) we thought you might find it useful to understand some average historic performance figures from the last couple of EMM surveys and this is available here. As HEPA will be fully managing the next efficiency return in December we will be able to produce a more detailed report during February 2019 based on the 17/18 data.  If you have any questions about the historic data or the new survey please do get in touch.

Additionally, a webinar will take place on 21st November at 11am where Larissa Morrish, deputy chair of HEPA, will run through the newly-developed system showing you how to complete your return this year and giving you an opportunity to answer questions on the process. To reserve your place on this please click here.
