Research capital and efficiency funding

HEFCE has announced that “Round 6 of the UK Research Partnership Investment Fund will make £220 million available to universities across the UK for the development of leading-edge research facilities that support collaboration and excellent research. Interested universities need to submit an initial notification by 10 November 2017.” Full details are on the HEFCE website.
In related news, the latest round of Salix funding for HE is live. The Scottish Funding Council version is £20million in interest-free loans, with an application deadline of the 31st October. The deadline for English HEIs is the 27th October. The deadline for the Welsh programme is almost upon us, but two more rounds are due at the end of December and the end of March.
