Finance Business Partner Training
11 October 2017 Rachel Ward, Learning and Development Manager
BUFDG is launching a new course: ‘Developing as a Finance Business Partner in Higher Education’. Following discussion with a number of Universities we have worked with Develop Global to create this one day event, designed for Finance Business Partners in HE. Suited to both newcomers or those who are simply wanting some new ideas and tips, we feel this will be valuable to a number of our members. Here are some of the topics participants will explore:
Understanding the role of the finance business partner with a HE institution.
The role activities, competencies and the realities.
Ways to work more strategically.
Strategies and behaviours for building relationships and managing stakeholders.
A set of tools to prioritise activities.
Business Partnering Skills including communicating the role confidently.
We have two launch sessions. For the full details and to book, click here for Edinburgh on the 24th November and here for London on the 15th December. For any queries, please contact Rachel.
