APUC is currently recruiting for a significant number of procurement posts, to be based in various locations around Scotland. It’s looking for experienced professionals to mainly fill new posts, although a few have become available following the promotion of current post holders.
First up is a Special Projects Manager - Advanced (Procurement), based in Glasgow, Stirling, or Edinburgh, to work initially in the APUC Development & Sustainability team for 12-18 months. The role is for an experienced procurement manager with excellent project management skills who is an accomplished communicator.
Secondly, APUC is looking for five Procurement Managers (Operational & Advanced Level), to deliver effective procurement management across a broad range of activities. The specific roles are 2 x UHI Shared Service Procurement Managers (Operational) based in the Oban to Fort William area and one (east role) that would ideally be based in the Tain to Elgin area. A Procurement Manager (Operational), based in Glasgow, Stirling, or Edinburgh, and required to work across a broad range of procurement areas as part of the APUC core team. A Procurement Manager (Advanced) working as an institutional lead across a broad range of procurement areas, and based in Falkirk. The final vacancy is for a Procurement Manager (Operational) to be part of the Glasgow (colleges) Region Procurement team (GRPT).
