Employee Expenses Survey

In March 2017 the Government launched a Call for Evidence on the taxation of employee expenses. To support the process HM Treasury and HM Revenue & Customs have run a number of round table discussions around the country, one of which I attended last week. The Officers I spoke with mentioned that the level of engagement in the exercise from taxpayers and representative organisations had been excellent; it is important, therefore, that our voice is heard. The deadline for responding is 10 July 2017 and BUFDG will be making a comprehensive submission.
We have put together a brief survey in order to inform our response and would be grateful if members would complete it as thoroughly as possible. Alternatively, or in addition, you can email your comments to me.
