Election cuts various tax changes from the Finance Bill 2017
27 April 2017 Amanda Darley, Head of Operations and Engagement
Due to the reduced parliamentary time before the election, several tax changes have been cut from the Finance Bill 2017 - of 135 changes proposed only 25 remain. We will bring you more information and commentary as the impact becomes clear, but the cuts include museum and gallery corporation tax relief, and the clauses relating to the taxable benefits for ultra-low emission vehicles and pensions advice, as well as the Making Tax Digital clauses. But the changes regarding 'optional remuneration schemes' (salary sacrifice) and off-payroll workers are among those that remain.
