The BUFDG Executive is made up of a Chair, Deputy Chair, Secretary and Treasurer, who are elected at the annual conference. In addition, each region elects a representative at one of its termly meetings, which are open to all members in that region. All members of the Executive serve a two-year term.

The Conference Host for 2011/12 is Peter Curran (Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama). This representative attends during the year leading up to the conference.
