Executive Officer: Karel Thomas
Karel has worked in higher education since 1993, when she made a career change from banking and financial systems. She has been Executive Officer of BUFDG since 2003, and knows a lot of people and, some say, useful information! So if you want to get involved, have an idea, or are a new Director of Finance, then be sure to get in touch.
Executive Assistants: Matt Sisson & Eleanor Lingham

Event Coordinator: Gill Birch

Tax Group Co-ordinator: Harriet Latham
After a degree in chemistry Harriet qualified as an ACA and CTA with PwC (Coopers & Lybrand) in London and Leicester. After seven years of giving specialist corporation tax advice Harriet moved to work at Alstom gaining more experience in corporation tax, PAYE and VAT. Harriet came into the HEI sector in 2007 and has been working for the BUFDG Tax Group since June 2009, moving forward sector-wide issues and providing specialist training.
