The BUFDG Annual Conference is held around Easter-time at a different location around the country. It is for BUFDG members and invited overseas visitors only, and all Finance Directors from our member institutions are encouraged to attend. Registrations from commercial delegates are not accepted but sponsors are warmly welcomed to plenary sessions and social occasions.
The Conference is the prime opportunity for hearing about the latest developments in HE finance, as well as providing an opportunity for meeting sponsors and exhibitors of services relevant to the day job. In addition, a variety of social events provide the ideal forum for networking with your colleagues at other institutions.
Every year there is a variety of workshops, plenary talks, exhibitions, a gala dinner and social events - which provide something for everyone. In addition, several sessions are aimed at professional development. Places at most workshops are restricted to 'members only' due to the nature of the sessions. Open sessions are clearly marked as such.
BUFDG 2012
The 2012 conference will be held at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama from the evening of Sunday 1st April to the afternoon of Tuesday 3rd April. BUFDG 2011
The 2011 conference had the theme "Making working together work". It was held at The University of Warwick on Sunday 10th to Tuesday 12th April. You can find further details of this conference by visiting the conference website.
BUFDG 2013
The 2013 conference will be held at The University of St Andrews from the evening of Sunday 17th March to the afternoon of Tuesday 19th March.
