The BUFDG Annual Conference is held in the week before Easter at a different location around the country. It is for BUFDG members and invited overseas visitors only, and all Finance Directors from our member institutions are encouraged to attend. Registrations from commercial delegates are not accepted but sponsors and exhibitors are warmly welcomed to plenary sessions and social occasions.
The Conference is the prime opportunity for hearing about the latest developments in HE finance, as well providing an opportunity for meeting sponsors and exhibitors of services relevant to the day job. In addition a variety of social events provide the ideal forum for networking with your colleagues at other institutions.
Every year there is a variety of workshops, plenary talks, exhibitions, a gala dinner and social events - which provide something for everyone. In addition, several sessions are aimed at professional development. Places at most workshops are restricted to 'members only' due to the nature of the sessions. Open sessions are clearly marked as such.
