As well as inviting us to "Come be social" this week, a group of LUPC Members has published guidance for managing the impact of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games on supply chains. The document includes information on business continuity planning; identifying key suppliers and their plans; operating procurement during the Games; and templates for communicating with suppliers. It also includes signposts to useful information and documents made available by LOCOG, Transport for London and other organisations involved in staging the Games and keeping the city operating during and either side of competition periods. Even those of us who are outside London will find the document useful as the whole country will be affected by the Games, not just London and Lougborough!
