TRAC EC-FP7 Guidance – final version
The
guidance on adapting TRAC for use with Framework Programme projects has now
been agreed with the European Commission. The final draft can be found on
the Universities UK website. Please go to the research policy section at http://www.universitiesuk.ac.uk/PolicyAndResearch/PolicyAreas/Pages/Research.aspx
and scroll
down to the sub section on
Europe . The
guidance is the first link under this section. The associated annexes are also
included. Please note that annex 3 has two parts.
A Helpdesk
on TRAC EC-FP7 is now available for
UK higher education
institutions. This is operated by Melanie Burdett at J M
Consulting. She is contactable on 0117 959 3687 or director@jmc1.org . Please note that this
Helpdesk only covers TRAC EC-FP7. It does not cover other FP7 or EC
matters, nor does it cover FP7 personnel cost or real indirect cost
methods that are not based on TRAC EC-FP7.
Although
this guidance has now been agreed at official level, it is still pending
endorsement by the Commissioner. Universities
UK have written formally to the
Commissioner in DG Research, Janez Potocnik, seeking endorsement and it is
expected that this will be confirmed in the next few weeks. It is not expected
that this process will result in any changes to the guidance, though an update
note will be circulated if any changes do occur.
