The EMTG looks to identify the factors which drive efficient operation in the higher education sector, assess the potential for introducing greater efficiency in operation, and identify the barriers to increased efficient operation, and to make recommendations on how these can be removed. A consideration of the cultural barriers will be a crucial element of this work. It also seeks to ensure that the sector provides value for money for the investment it receives, from both public and private sources. You can find out more about the EMTG by downloading the project plan from the Info-Bank.

UUK HE SPG (Strategic Procurement Group)

Jenny Bushrod and Barry Higgins sit on the SPG. You can download a number of useful documents relating to the work of the SPG, including meeting minutes, from the Info-Bank.

AUPO representation on this group is through the AUPO Chair, Jenny Bushrod. Jenny would be pleased to receive any feedback or comments on the papers below. Her email address is j.bushrod@plymouth.ac.uk
