BUFDG's Investment Management and Practice (IMP) group and Financial Sustainability And Climate Related Environmental Disclosures (SACRED) group have changed from being full working groups meeting regularly, to occasional task and finish groups, meeting as and when the need arises.
IMP operated on a focused task and finish basis during 2024-25, creating a number of useful resources for members. The group has made valuable strides in building a body of knowledge to support members, but as the initial wave of planned activities has now been completed IMP will now only meet as required, unless new issues emerge.
SACRED worked on various projects initially, but there has been much less for them to discuss and work on in recent months.
Therefore the BUFDG Exec took a decision to move these groups to an 'as needed' basis. As such, their Chairs are no longer required to be part of the BUFDG Exec Committee, but will consult with the Exec as and when required and remain on hand to the BUFDG team to input on these topics.
