Latest on the BUFDG e-learning competition leader-board

14 April 2020      Amanda Darley, Head of Operations and Engagement

The latest BUFDG e-learning leader-board is now available! While Natasha Butler from the University of East London remains at number one in the charts with an impressive 19 modules under her belt, there have been some changes in the Top Ten:

  • David Glover of Staffordshire University has completed one extra course, meaning that although he remains in 5th place, he has managed to shrug off those who were previously in joint 5th with him, pushing them down to 6th place.
  • Although that also means that Charlotte Hardman of the University of Manchester has gone down one place to 7th, the extra module she has completed does mean that she is now clear of those who she was previously in joint 6th place with, as they have moved down to 8th place.
  • We have two new entries in the Top Ten - those in 10th place on the leader-board have been joined by Sarah Murray of the University of Kent and Katarzyna Trojan-Mizzi of the University of Southampton.

Who will the prizes (John Lewis vouchers) go to? Will anyone catch Natasha? And who will ultimately claim 2nd and 3rd place? Will you get on to the leader-board?

We hope our little competition is helping you to make good use of your time while working from home, as well as increasing the finance knowledge among university staff across the UK - since the competition started, the average number of modules completed per week has increased by 99%, and in the first week of the competition there were 125 more modules completed than in any other week so far this financial year.

To find out more about the competition see our news article here, which also provides links to our e-learning and our guide to which modules are suitable for which roles within a university.

Keep learning to be in with a chance of winning...
