Are you continually hampered by questions regarding the VAT liability of research? Do collaborations within the research field pose some difficult VAT questions for you? Then help is at hand, VAT education specialists at Deloitte will be hosting a VAT technical webinar for BUFDG members, covering the VAT liability of research undertaken by universities and the common issues and concerns that arise in the sector.
The webinar will take place on 21 February at 11am. The hosts will be Laurie Pay and Kate Connolly and they will provide a handy refresher of the research ‘basics’ and touch on some of the more complex questions when it comes to institutions collaborating with each other. If you would like to dial in and listen to the webinar, please register your interest by emailing Naomi Connor at Deloitte. A diary invite will be sent to attendees and dial in details for the webinar circulated to the attendee list. Laurie and Kate are happy to consider your questions, but if you have questions please provide these to Naomi by email prior to the webinar, as there will not be a facility to take questions during the webinar.
