Which procurement procedure? A useful guide.

The majority of work for most central procurement teams is focussed on developing contracts for products and services required for which the spend exceeds the EU threshold (currently £164,176). Most of these will be standard Restricted or Open procedures however when did you last review other choices available to you and remind yourself of the timeframes applicable in each scenario.
A useful guide from Mills and Reeve on their procurement portal is a good quick reference document which answers questions on the subject and can be easily used by all in an institution to understand the regulatory requirements. You can access the information here.
