Following high demand and positive feedback from our ‘Finance for Non Finance Managers’ course we are running it again on the 5th September. The course gives a basic but thorough understanding of finance in HEI's, including financial reporting, jargon, costings and simple financial ratios. The course will be delivered by internal experts; Liz Welch (The University of Edinburgh) and Karen Sinclair (Queen Margaret University).
The course is aimed at non-accountants who are keen to gain an understanding of finance. This could include new team members who have no finance background or staff in HEI's who support finance or manage budgets - whether in central teams or out in departments. If you want your institution to gain the most benefit from the course, you might have to go out into the outer rings of professional services and let your colleagues know about it.
