If those aforementioned challenges overlap with procurement, you might want to consider attending the Conference on University Purchasing (COUP). Booking is now open for COUP 2019, to be hosted by SUPC, in Leicester in September. In related news, entries are open for the HE procurement awards, which will be handed out at COUP - details are here.
Secondly, bookings for the 2019 NASMA Conference are now open. NASMA stands for the National Association of Student Money Advisers, and the conference will be relevant for those who give money advice to students, that administer hardship funds, HEI bursaries and scholarships, that support the transition of students into HE (looking at financial capability, integration, equality and residency) – as well as staff who manage those staff of course! The 2019 conference takes place on Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th June at the Renaissance Hotel, in Manchester and the theme this year is: ‘It’s Complicated’. The full conference schedule, along with workshop information, delegate packages and conference fees can be found on the NASMA website.
