15-19 March 2021
Thank you to all those who joined us for our first ever online Annual Conference in the middle of March, via the Hopin platform. While it was a different experience to the usual event, we aimed to keep many of the best things about the traditional conferences, while also making the most of what an online event allows - namely a bigger event, with more sessions and attendees.
The theme for the event was Somewhere, Anywhere, which captured some of the biggest questions that universities were, are, and will be, facing as the new ‘normal’ emerges.
The 2021 programme was spread across five days and featured a fantastic line-up of challenging, informative, and entertaining speakers from the finance world and beyond.
Major speakers included:
Prof. Andy Westwood, Professor of Government Practice (and HE expert), University of Manchester
Prof. Shearer West, Vice-Chancellor, University of Nottingham
Gerald Moser, MD - Chief Market Strategist, Barclays
Shirley Cameron, Group Financial Controller, BBC
Sylvia Pozezenac, CEO, Mercer UK
Dr Paul Redmond, Director of Student Experience and Enhancement, University of Liverpool
Sacha Sadan, Director of Investment Stewardship, Legal & General Investment Management
Sally McGill, Chief Financial Officer, University of Staffordshire
Lucy Adams, CEO, Disruptive HR
Mark Lee, Finance and Accounting Futurist
