Wednesday 6 March 2024
Timings: 9.00am-4.30pm
Location: Woburn House Conference Centre, Tavistock Square, London WC1H 9HQ
For the first time since the pandemic, BUFDG is running an in-person training event for corporation tax
This one day course, which builds on the basic knowledge covered in our online training courses (Intro to Corporation Tax in HE, Corporation Tax - University NPP Trading Computations, and Corporation Tax: Managing Subsidiaries) will cover not just how to do corporation tax, but how to manage corporation tax
From analysing new activities in your university, to preparing your university return in an efficient way, at the end of this course you should feel more confident in managing corporation tax risk, and reporting more accurately to HMRC.
Prior to attending the course, we recommend that participants complete the online training.
The course presenter is Harriet Latham who is a Chartered Tax Adviser and the Tax Manager at the University of Glasgow. She has a lot of experience both within and outside of the University sector, and was instrumental in rewriting the Corporation Tax Guidelines which are agreed with HMRC.
Because the course is workshop based, places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
Coffee/registration will be available from 9.00am ready for a 9.30am start and an approximate 4.30pm finish. Buffet lunch is included.
