Synopsis:
This webinar is aimed towards all Estates and Facilities Management professionals across the HE Sector in the UK to provide an introduction to UKUPC (UK Universities Purchasing Consortia) and its core regional consortia, giving an overview of the services and strategic support available free of charge to AUDE members with details of the current collaborative Frameworks, contracting programme and circular economy offerings.
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and to discuss any additional areas of support that may be required.
This webinar is designed for all Estates and Facilities Management professionals across the UK Higher Education sector. It will provide an introduction to the United Kingdom Universities Purchasing Consortia (UKUPC) and its core regional consortia, outlining the services and strategic support available free of charge to AUDE members.

Speakers:
Andy Anderson is the Director of Category for Estates at APUC (Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges) and an MCIPS Chartered professional. Beginning his career in the private sector, Andy brings more than 30 years of public sector procurement experience across the NHS and Local Authorities, where he has led teams at both regional and national levels. He has spent almost two decades working within the Higher and Further Education sector.
In his current role, Andy oversees the full Estates and Facilities portfolio, including utilities, providing strategic guidance and support to universities and colleges across Scotland. He represents the sector on multiple national working groups and currently serves as Chair of the UKUPC Estates National Category Group.
Andy Hughes - Deputy Head of Operational Procurement at the NEUPC (North East Universities Purchasing Consortia) , Certified Member of Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply, over 25 Years experience in HE Procurement having led on projects and frameworks both local and national levels. Most recent project to award a Building Refurbishment Framework for regional members for up to £10m works with a focus on local supply base. Also works with HEPA and EUAC on Carbon Emissions Reporting.
Jon Lisle - Category Manager for Estates & Construction at the NEUPC. MCIPS with over 20 years’ experience in Public Sector procurement across a variety of categories and 10 years’ experience specifically in Estates across both the NHS and HE sectors, having helped manage a £100m NHS Capital Estates budget and more recently led on multiple Estates Works, Maintenance and Professional Services projects and frameworks at both local and regional level. Most recent project was the award of a Regional Conservation Works and Maintenance (and Professional Services) Framework to provide a route to market for HE Sector Heritage and Conservation project managers to engage highly skilled and innovative conservation professionals.
