Please note this is a repeat of the event which took place on the 26th September.
Many of you will have seen the article on the reforms to the off-payroll working for the private sector, which come into effect from 6 April 2020.
The draft legislation detailing the changes means that universities may well need to change their current processes and procedures for engaging with PSCs, particularly where there are agencies in the supply chain between university and PSC. As a result, this seems a good time to remind ourselves of the rules around off-payroll working, get up to speed with the changes from April 2020 and understand what this means for your organisation. Additionally, we will consider status more generally.
PwC has agreed with BUFDG to host a session primarily focussed on off-payroll working and to include some other topical areas that will be of interest to HEIs. The event will take place at PwC’s More London office on 18th October and will be suitable for those with a good understanding of the off-payroll working rules as well as those who are newer to the subject.
Registration from 10am ready for a 10.30am start. The session will finish at 1pm when a buffet lunch will be provided.
