Ensuring compliance with National Minimum Wage (NMW) is becoming increasingly complex with more and more employers being named and shamed for what are, in the main, technical breaches. As a result PwC is running a seminar on 1st December 2017 to highlight what this means practically for universities. The session will focus on what information universities should have in terms of time recording/pay etc to prove that they are complying with legislation. It will consider HE specific risks based on PwC's experience of working with other clients. The event will be run jointly by employment tax specialists and employment lawyers who can bring their wealth of experience to the session.
Registration at 10am for a 10.30am start and a buffet lunch at 1.00pm to finish.
This event is also open to people working in HE who are not full members. If you are not already a member, to book on this event you will need to register for a website account here. If your email address ends in .ac.uk your account will be approved automatically – if not, it will need to be approved by a member of the team. Once your account has been approved, you will be able to come back to this page and click CONTINUE, then login and book your place.
