Session Overview:
The FRG together with the Audit Firms will once again be hosting a series of regional Financial Statement workshops. The workshops will cover any amendments or new guidance for Financial Reporting. The workshops will provide an opportunity to review best practice, ask questions and to network with other members. The workshops are aimed at practitioner level and are free to attend.
Who should attend?
The workshops are aimed at practitioner level. The workshop is free to attend and in most of the regional locations places are limited to 20 so early booking is recommended.
What will the session cover?
Please let us know of any items you would like to be discussed in particular at the workshops - we can then add these to the agenda.
Who is leading the workshops?
An FRG member supported by the Audit Firms.
For any queries on the workshop, please contact Rachel.
Timings: Registration from 10am ready for a 10.30am start and a finish time of approx 1pm. Please note that tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided on arrival but lunch IS NOT included.
Travel Information: The Queens Building is in the Queen’s Drive - number 11 on the campus map. But the Digital Humanities Lab is indicated at number 90 in the bottom corner of the Queens Building – so best approached from the car park below the Queens Building – number 10 on the map.
Directions are available here: http://www.exeter.ac.uk/visit/directions/streatham/
Parking is very difficult on campus - there is a visitor’s car park ‘C’ in the middle of the campus which is pay and display. There are also Exeter City Council spaces along Streatham Drive on the right or along the Prince of Wales Road – both in easy walking distance to the Queens Building.
Trains are the best bet to Exeter St David’s station or Exeter Central – a taxi from either station takes less than 10 minutes
