Directors' Development Day - Professional Services
Thursday 23rd September and Friday 24th September 09.00-13.00, taking place online.
The Directors' Development Day is a joint event held by AUDE, BUFDG, HESPA and UHR. The event is aimed at Directors across these Professional Services, presenting a unique platform to give thought and debate with peers outside of the workplace.

The programme is one event split across two mornings. One ticket gives you access to both the Thursday and Friday sessions.

Disruption in the HE Sector: Reflecting on key uncertainties and disruptions in the sector over the next few years and the context within which HE will need to operate. The roles that Estates, Finance, HR and Strategic Planning will have in identifying and addressing the associated impacts and risks. Led by PwC | |
Session 2 | The future of Professional Services: The roles and characteristics of modern Professional Service teams. To identify and discuss priority areas for HEI’s and the potential blockers to enable these. Led by PHES and PwC |
Session 3 | Technology as a key enabler: To share with attendees modern technologies and some of the capabilities that new technologies bring to professional services. To share prerequisites and critical success factors for technology transformation. To allow attendees to share their own lessons learned of technology implementation. Led by PHES and PwC |

Session 2 | Dynamic working as an enabler: To share with attendees ways in which other organisations have overcome specific areas of concern to implement dynamic / hybrid working. Led by PwC and PHES |
Session 3 | Delivering successful cultural change: To discuss the importance of cultural and behavioural change in delivering transformation including practical approaches and case studies. Led by PwC and PHES |
Session 4 | An outsider’s view and lessons learned: How an organisation can transform their professional services. Led by PwC |
