Arrival:
The meeting is being held in the Ken Kitchen Committee Room in the John Owens Building; this is around a 15 minute taxi ride from Manchester and Victoria stations, and a 20 minute walk from Manchester Oxford Road. NCP parking is available at the Manchester Aquatics Centre, a few minutes’ walk away. A map can be found using the link below to assist you in locating the building and there will be signs up within the John Owens Building to point you in the right direction.

Thursday Night Social:
For those wishing to arrive the evening before, there is an excellent opportunity to get to know colleagues, do some networking and enjoy a night out in Manchester. A dinner booking has been made at Piccolino restaurant in the city centre at 7pm. Menu options and dietary requirements will be collected by Ros Ballinger at rosalind.ballinger@manchester.ac.uk from those attending in due course. Please confirm whether you will be attending the evening meal when completing the event booking on the BUFDG site (https://www.bufdg.ac.uk/eventbooking/View?id=567).

Suggested accommodation:
If you are arriving the night before, accommodation is available to book at the University-owned Chancellor’s Hotel for a rate of £86 per night. Please quote ref: 231099 when making a booking to ensure you receive the correct rate; an initial deposit will be required to be paid over the phone.
The University will arrange taxis to transport you from this hotel to the University on the morning of the 29th if you are without transport.
