The Finance Festival is BUFDG's 3-day online event covering all things HE finance and procurement. It is completely FREE to attend for all staff at UK universities. BUFDG members can book on this page after signing in with their website account. You can register for a BUFDG account here.
Delegates only need to book once, and this ticket will provide you with access to as few or as many of the sessions as you wish to attend. You do not need to individually book onto each session in advance. There are no limits on numbers for the whole event, nor on numbers for each individual session. The sessions will be recorded enabling delegates to catch up on any missed sessions post-event.
We also welcome bookings from other organisations/companies working in or supporting universities, at a low per-delegate cost. Supporter booking will open on 16 September.
The 2026 event features a fantastic line-up of challenging, informative, and entertaining sessions covering everything from Cash to Change Fatigue, from Pensions to Procurement, and TRAC to TNE. More details about the sessions and speakers can be found on the festival mini-site (launching end of September) once they are confirmed.
This year the festival is kindly sponsored by the team at Mercer/Marsh. The Mercer team has become part of the expanded Marsh brand and is now Marsh's people and investments business. The Finance Festival has been CPD certified and will provide 12 hours of CPD.
