Introduction to Higher Education Finance

E-learning module for Staff within HE Institutions

Welcome to this BUFDG e-learning module which is intended to equip those new to a finance team (or indeed anyone looking for useful resources) and help them find their way around HE finance.

This module provides high level sector information and will direct you to additional resources and materials that are available.

The module should take about  90 minutes to complete, and you are encouraged to complete it in one session. However you do have the option to save your progress so you can complete it over several sessions if you need to - you can resume the course by going to the MY COURSES page within MY BUFDG.  Please note there is no sound.

Upon completion you will be directed to a survey where you will be asked to provide feedback on the module.

Please note, information will be shared with the Finance Learning and Development contact for your institution to let them know you have completed this module.

Use the arrows at the bottom of each screen to navigate through this e-learning module. When you reach the end of the module you can request an email be sent to you to record that you have successfully completed the training. Click below to start.

Please note the information contained within this e-learning module is considered to be an up-to-date and accurate overview of the sector at the time of production (April 2016).  Whilst every effort will be taken to review it periodically for accuracy, the information is intended to provide a guide and the reader should always check for any changes before relying on the detail.
