With my normal warning of “Andrea will check this when she’s back from holiday”, here at the latest HMRC updates, publications, etc:
The guidance on the movement of goods under the Northern Ireland Protocol has been updated and now includes information on what to do if you’ve made a mistake using the duty off-set mechanism and need to make a repayment claim
The Northern Ireland Supplement to the CDS UK Trade Tariff includes a new Additional Information Code for manual calculations of excise duty. It also provides a definition for the exporter for use on Export Declarations
If you have applied for a Binding Origin information decision for importing/exporting from Northern Ireland, the section in the guidance explaining what happens after you’ve applied has been updated
Confirmation that an exit summary declaration will usually be required even if you have an entry summary declaration has been added
