We’re sad to announce that Caroline Jones will be leaving BUFDG at the end of October. We have been delighted with Caroline’s work, and she has really enjoyed the role working with members and the BUFDG team. I'm sure I echo members' sentiments when I say she has done some wonderful work and we will be very sorry to see her go.
In addition, whilst I am not leaving BUFDG, I am moving on from the Tax Specialist role to take on the newly created role of BUFDG's Digital Content Manager, looking after the new and growing BUFDG Pro service and other aspects of our online content.
The timing of these changes is unfortunate but entirely coincidental.
This means that we'll need a new Tax Specialist and a new Employment Tax Specialist - could either of these be you?
As a BUFDG member, hopefully you'll have some idea of what the roles involve already. The purpose of the roles is to support the HE tax and payroll community, by liaising with HMRC and other organisations on behalf of the HE sector, providing training opportunities for BUFDG members, providing updates, news articles, information and guidance on for the HE sector, supporting the national and regional BUFDG tax and PEG groups, organising the annual tax conference and events, and supporting members and responding to their needs.
