New topic based pages, search and more
30 September 2014 Dominic Fryer, Managing Director
You may have noticed that some of the website menus look different today. That is because we have launched some new parts of the website, which are all aimed at helping users find content.
The highlights on these changes are:
The navigation at the top of the page contains the most important and most popular content – About Us, News, Calendar, Discussions, Resources and Training.
A brand new search function – you can search across the whole site, or narrow it down and search through particular sections (eg: discussions and news).
Resources have been divided up into subject areas (eg: tax), so that all of the tax resources are in one place, making it much easier for you to see what new content is being added, but also find historical content too.
A new training section, which lists upcoming events and news, as well as the Training and Development Group resources.
A news page that brings together the news articles, digest and twitter feed.
The site is now mobile friendly and very soon the emails that you receive from the site, will also be easier to read on mobile devices.
Pages dedicated to particular events – there is a Tax Conference 2014 page and the recent Systems Conference has its own page, so it is easier to find and download the presentations.
We also made some other changes to the discussion boards recently, such as adding the ability to ‘like’ a discussion post and also attach documents to discussion posts, making it easier to share content.
If you have any thoughts or feedback on the site, please contact Dominic.
