Tax bits – personal tax accounts, tax strategies, and meeting minutes

HMRC has provided us with some information and documents regarding how the new Personal Tax Accounts can help employees pay the right tax at the right time, but can also help employers by reducing queries directed to university payroll departments. The information and posters and flyers you can use to promote the benefits of Personal Tax Accounts to your employees are available on our website.
HMRC has asked us to pass on this link regarding what should be included in a Tax Strategy, as it may be helpful to universities when putting together a strategy as there are a number of universities who are considering doing so, even though most are not obliged by law to do so.
