KPMG RDEC Update

KPMG shared an update on RDEC claims with clients last week, including HMRC's approach to reviewing claims, thoughts on this week's Budget and accounting considerations. HMRC has now also confirmed to KPMG that no RDEC payments have actually yet been made by HMRC, despite HMRC expecting to start making payments last week. HMRC has confirmed that payments are currently being processed and were only delayed due to some administrative steps that needed to be gone through.
