A recording of the BUFDG Research & Development Expenditure Credit ('RDEC') webinar which took place on 25th February 2015 is now available to view here. The webinar was well received and included useful updates and information on submitting claims. Many thanks to Harriet Latham and Kerry Sykes for delivering such a useful session.
In the webinar, we mentioned that HMRC's website includes a lot of information about the RDEC and this can be found here.
Also, any university submitting a claim (with their tax return) should separately notify the HMRC Charities Team in Bootle by emailing Shaun Thomas at HMRC with a pdf copy of the claim. Shaun's email address is: shaun.thomas@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk
